Listening is also the key to communication. If you want to make a difference in the world, or to have a brilliant relationship, or to lead and inspire people, or to be a real friend, or change the way people think forever, listening is the most important skill.

Listening means paying attention not only to tje story, but how it is told, the use of language and voice, and how the other person uses his or her body.

Listening skills allow one to make sense of and understand what another person is saying. In other words, listening skills allow people to understand what someone is taking about the meaning behind the words. The ability to listen carefully allows workers to better understand assignment they are given.
